***I received these patterns for free in exchange for my participation in this blog tour, however all opinions are mine.***
Eeeeekkkkkk! To say that I love this bundle is an understatement! The hardest part of signing up for this blog tour was deciding which 2 patterns to pick. I really really love all of the patterns in this Bundle Up sale. I will definitely be adding most of these to my collection.
For my 2 patterns I picked the Jocole Wideleg Pants and the Adeline Cardigan by Foo Foo Threads. Look at the cuteness in this outfit. I just can’t get over it.
Miss G is 6 and 1/2 going on 24. She is entering that not a little girl, but not even a tween yet stage. She is starting to see a lot of things as babyish so I have been trying to update her wardrobe to look a little more grown up with out being too grown up. The Foo Foo Threads Adeline Cardigan is perfect for this. I am a sucker for a cardigan, put a peter pan collar on it and I am going to jump all over it. This cardigan has lots of options, including sleeveless, short sleeves and the option to add ruffles to the sleeves and to the bottom hem. It also has the option for a drop waist dress. I already have plans to make the sleeveless dress for Miss G’s summer clothes. I opted to leave the ruffles off for a more grown up look. The Adeline Cardigan is fully lined, which makes for a clean looking inside. This cardigan looks just as nice on the inside as it does on the outside. This was a quick sew with a big WOW! factor.
I don’t even know where to begin with The Jocole Wide Leg Pants. I am so in love with these pants. They are such a beautiful pair of pants. This pattern is designed to be used with a woven or knit and it has a knit waist band. When I saw the knit waist band I jumped all over these. One of my biggest fights with Miss G is over pants. She is so thin that everything falls off her. If I go with an adjustable waist pant, she complains of them bunching and being uncomfortable. These are perfect, comfortable like yoga pants but dressy. This is the second Jocole pattern that I have sewn up and it was a very easy sew. I see lots of these in our future.
